Titel:
Adding to complexity: How a revived use of psychological theory can benefit attempts to stimulate change in patterns of personal travel
Abstract:
Part I is a brief history of the most influential theories and research findings with regard to attitude-behavior linkage. In the later sections of part I resent developments are presented. In part II an operational framework that draws on experimental and applied research findings is presented. The model is developed as a tool suitable for evaluation of behavioral change elements in projects and interventions within the field of mobility and transport management. In Part III this framework is used to analyze two specific behaviors prone to behavioral change interventions: A. Economic driving (eco-drive) and B. Modal shift (car to public transport).
