Abstract:
Sammenligning af driftsøkonomi for bus- og banetransport vanske-liggøres
ofte af de mange forskelle, som eksisterer mellem de to systemer, blandt
andet forskelle i kørehastigheder, standsningsaf-stande, personale
i køretøjer og på stationer mv. I artiklen opstilles
sammenlignelige driftsudgifter for bus- og banetransport, idet et konkret
eksempel lægges til grund. Nærbanemateriel (RegioSprinter)
samt bus (18 m ledbus) sammenlignes med udgangspunkt i en ca. 10 km lang
strækning med en gennemsnits rejsehastighed på 40 km/t og et
interval på 10 min. under myldretidstrafik. Resultatet af opgørelsen
er, at driftsudgifterne til nærbanemateriel er ca. 850 kr./togtime
og for ledbus ca. 450 kr./vogntime, begge incl. kapitalomkostninger til
materiel. Driftsudgifterne til banemateriel er således i det konkrete
tilfælde næsten dobbelt så store som for ledbus. Den
såkaldte ”baneeffekt”, altså at jernbaner alt andet lige genere-rer
flere passagerer, bør dog medtages i en vurdering af systemerne.
Abstract:
Comparison of actual operation costs for bus and rail transport of-ten
is complicated by a number of differences between the systems such as differences
in velocities, distance between stops, manning of stations etc. etc. In
this paper a comparison of operating costs is carried out in a particular
case where bus and light rail transport is assumed to be operated under
precisely the same conditions.Light Rail vehicles (RegioSprinter) and bus
(18m articulated bus) is compared assuming a 10 km alignment, and average
travel velocity of 40 km/h, and an interval of 10 min. during peak hour
traffic. This results in a operation cost of 850 DKK/h for light rail and
450 DKK/h for segregated bus, both of which includes all costs related
to the driving, operation and maintenance of the rolling stock (also includ-ing
capital costs related to the rolling stock). Thus operation costs for light
rail in this case are nearly twice as large as for the bus.An aspect which
should also be considered, however, is the so-called “railway effect”,
i.e. that railways generate more passengers than bus transport.
